Custom SMT Surface-Mount Threaded PCB Standoffs
Zhengna Technology supplies surface-mount threaded PCB standoffs from the buyer's controlled drawing. The public product photograph shows actual supplied female-threaded parts in tape-and-reel packing. The part number, dimensions, finish, assembly process and acceptance criteria for each project remain controlled by the approved drawing and quotation.
SMTSO may appear in an incoming RFQ as a customer reference. Zhengna Technology does not present SMTSO as an owned model family and does not reproduce third-party catalogue artwork. The final quotation is based on the buyer drawing, required thread or through hole, length, material, finish, quantity, packaging and inspection plan.

Confirmed reference configuration and price
The following offer is a real quotation reference for one defined configuration. It is not a universal price for every thread, length, packing route or drawing.
| Item | Confirmed reference |
|---|---|
| Product | Made-to-drawing SMT surface-mount threaded PCB standoff |
| Reference thread | M2 |
| Reference material | Carbon steel |
| Reference finish | 2.5 µm matte tin |
| Reference unit price | USD 0.03 per piece |
| Minimum quantity for this price | 100 pieces |
| Reference packing | Tape-and-reel |
| Tooling charge | No mold, fixture or special-tooling charge for the confirmed reference |
| Supply status | Made to order |
| Typical production lead time | Approximately 10 days after payment and release of the drawing/order conditions |
The USD 0.03 reference applies only to the stated M2 carbon-steel and 2.5 µm matte-tin configuration at 100 pieces in tape-and-reel packing. Bag packing is available for separately confirmed quotations. A different drawing, thread, length, material, finish, quantity, packing specification, inspection plan or delivery condition requires confirmation.
The reference is dated August 10, 2026 and runs through August 10, 2029, provided the exact configuration remains unchanged and the applicable raw-material price does not rise by 10%. If that trigger is reached, the quotation must be reconfirmed before order placement.
Trade terms and cost boundary
EXW, FOB and CIF quotations are available. FOB ports include Ningbo, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Under the confirmed FOB allocation, the applicable China-side taxes, export charges and origin-port local charges are included; international freight, import duty and destination-country taxes are buyer responsibilities. Under a separately confirmed CIF quotation, the agreed international freight is included, while import duty and destination-country taxes remain buyer responsibilities. The final quotation states the exact Incoterm, named place or port and cost allocation.
Drawing-reference size families
The following user-confirmed ranges can be reviewed for quotation. They are drawing-reference families, not unrestricted stock promises and not a claim that a third-party model code belongs to Zhengna Technology.
| Reference feature | Public drawing-review range | RFQ control |
|---|---|---|
| Metric female threads | M2 × 0.4, M2.5 × 0.45, M3 × 0.5, M3.5 × 0.6, M4 × 0.7 | Confirm thread standard, class, engagement, plating allowance and mating fastener |
| Through-hole references | 3.6 mm and 4.2 mm | Confirm drawing tolerance, board interface and functional clearance |
| Length-code references | 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm | Confirm datum faces, installed height and tolerance on the released drawing |
Send the current drawing even when one of these references appears to match. Pad geometry, pickup surface, board hole, solder area, installed height, reel orientation and validation conditions can change independently of the nominal thread or length.
Material, finish and SMT assembly boundary
The price reference uses carbon steel with 2.5 µm matte tin. The confirmed connection method is SMT. These facts support the stated reference configuration only. They do not establish a universal reflow profile, solder paste, stencil design, pad layout, solderability period, storage condition, joint strength, electrical rating or finished-board approval.
The buyer should define the PCB material and thickness, pad or hole geometry, keep-out area, component orientation, pickup need, solder process, thermal profile, cleaning route, mating fastener and required assembly validation. Tape-and-reel describes the presentation method; it does not by itself prove compatibility with a particular SMT line or reflow process.
Inspection plan for the confirmed product family
The recorded control plan checks outside diameter, inside diameter or mounting-hole size and appearance using a 2D optical projector and visual inspection. It combines several stages:
- First-batch first-article inspection: 1% of the first-batch quantity for dimensions and appearance.
- Sampling inspection: 10% for dimensions and appearance.
- Per-batch inspection: 20% for dimensions and appearance.
- Outbound inspection: 100% appearance plus measurement of outside diameter, inside diameter and mounting-hole size.
These frequencies describe this confirmed product-family record. The released drawing and order documents should still identify the characteristics, tolerances, measurement method, equipment, sample base, record format and reaction plan. The inspection record does not establish universal thread-gauge, torque, solder-joint, pull-out, vibration, corrosion or finished-board performance.
For visible packing evidence, review the PCB standoff tape-and-reel workshop and inspection page. It shows the packing route and checks for missing parts, incorrect carrier-pocket position, visible deformation and visible damage. It does not replace the dimensional control plan or lot-specific release record.
Packaging and delivery
Tape-and-reel and bag packing are available. For tape-and-reel supply, the buyer should define reel size, pitch, pocket geometry, orientation, pickup surface, leader and trailer, splice rule, label and incoming acceptance. Bag packing should define quantity per bag, part-to-part protection, moisture control where required and label/lot identity.
Production is made to order. The typical lead time is approximately 10 days after payment and release of the controlled drawing and order conditions. A new drawing revision, non-standard packaging, additional validation, special records or material availability can change the final schedule stated in the quotation.
Customer feedback
Average product-family feedback: 4.9/5 from five customer email responses collected in August 2026. The source records are retained.
“Installation was completed without problems. The salt-spray test passed, and no unplated areas were found inside the holes.”
— Will, Europe · August 4, 2026 · 5/5
This is permissioned customer-reported project feedback from a 100-piece laboratory evaluation performed by SGS. Internal and SGS records are retained. The feedback is not presented as product certification, a universal test standard, a fixed salt-spray duration or a corrosion guarantee for another drawing. Project programs may use 24-, 48- or 72-hour durations; the exact standard, exposure, acceptance criteria and applicable report must be confirmed for each order.

Frequently asked questions
What does the USD 0.03 reference cover?
It is a unit-price reference at 100 pieces for the stated M2 carbon-steel standoff with 2.5 µm matte tin in tape-and-reel packing. The drawing, inspection and Incoterm conditions must still be confirmed in the quotation.
Is SMTSO a Zhengna Technology model?
No. SMTSO may be supplied by a buyer as an RFQ reference. Zhengna Technology manufactures to the controlled buyer drawing and does not present the third-party code or catalogue artwork as an owned product family.
Which thread and length families can be reviewed?
Public drawing references include M2, M2.5, M3, M3.5 and M4 metric threads, 3.6 mm and 4.2 mm through holes, and 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm lengths. Final supply is subject to the released drawing and quotation.
Does tape-and-reel prove reflow compatibility?
No. Tape-and-reel is a packaging and presentation method. Reflow compatibility depends on the approved material, finish, PCB pad, solder paste, stencil, thermal profile, handling and assembly validation.
How is the 4.9/5 rating scoped?
It is the average of five retained customer email responses collected for this product family in August 2026. The displayed review is one permissioned project report and does not guarantee the same test or assembly result for another drawing.
