Start with the released part definition
A useful custom fastener request identifies the drawing and revision, data precedence, thread system and tolerance, material or property authority, critical geometry, mating interface, quantity, production stage and required release evidence. A photograph or used sample may help describe a problem, but it cannot establish the original thread fit, material condition, coating allowance or joint performance by itself.

Manufacturing route is project-specific
Threaded components may require turning, drilling, milling or other agreed operations depending on geometry, material condition, quantity and the released requirements. Zhengna Technology's verified CNC turning evidence includes internal and external threads plus drawing-controlled pins, shafts, sleeves, bushings, fittings and other turned parts. Feasibility for heading, rolling, forming, grinding, heat treatment, coating or external processing is confirmed only when the actual project route and responsible source have been reviewed.
This boundary matters because a process name does not prove the finished joint. A thread gauge result can support the specified thread state, while clamp force, prevailing torque, fatigue, sealing, corrosion life and complete assembly validation require their own controlled inputs and responsible validation party.
Material, finish and inspection stay tied to the drawing
Owner-confirmed material families in the CNC turning scope include carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, aluminum alloys, brass and copper, engineering plastics and titanium alloys, with exact grades and feasibility subject to drawing review. The inquiry should state whether the buyer controls an exact grade, a property basis, or an approved-alternative process.
Finish requirements should identify the controlling specification, zones, masking, dimensional state, lubrication when relevant, required evidence and external-process responsibility. Inspection should name the characteristic, measurement state, method, frequency and reaction rule. Zhengna Technology does not apply one default material, coating, test package or inspection frequency to every special fastener.
Examples of features that change the quotation route
Two parts with the same nominal thread can require different reviews. A turned threaded pin may place the main risk at a stepped bore, shoulder, cross hole or thread runout. A special screw may add an under-head seating face, recess or coating-free zone. A nut may depend on prevailing-torque behavior or an assembly feature that cannot be accepted from thread size alone. The RFQ should identify the feature that makes the part custom and explain the mating condition it controls.
That information lets the manufacturing team distinguish geometry that can be machined directly from geometry that needs a different forming, tooling or external-process route. It also prevents a catalogue assumption from becoming an unsupported promise about tooling, mechanical properties, finish performance or production timing.
