The product photographs on this page show actual supplied holders rather than conceptual illustrations. CR2032 compatibility is confirmed for the pictured holder forms; compatibility with another cell size, PCB footprint or enclosure must be confirmed against the applicable drawing.
Available project scope includes surface-mount holder options commonly described as SMT or SMD configurations. The exact contact geometry, body dimensions, polarity layout, retention features, PCB interface, packaging and assembly conditions are controlled by the selected model or approved customer drawing.


Reference CR2032 configuration and pricing
The following information is a real quotation reference for one qualifying configuration. It is not a universal price for every holder model or custom design.

Applicable China-side taxes and export charges are included in the reference quotation. International freight is not included in the FOB reference price. When CIF is requested, freight is included only in the separately confirmed CIF quotation. Import duties and destination-country taxes remain the buyer's responsibility.
For a made-to-drawing holder requiring a new mold, a typical mold reference is approximately USD 1,000. A separate fixture is not normally required for this reference scope. Tooling and production pricing are confirmed after drawing review. A change to the required plating specification can require the unit price to be reconfirmed.
EXW, FOB and CIF quotations are available. The USD 0.10 figure shown above applies specifically to the stated FOB reference configuration and quantity.
Standard models and made-to-drawing options
Projects can start from an available holder model or a controlled customer drawing. A quotation review should identify:
- the coin cell type and controlled dimensional range;
- the holder drawing, revision and units;
- the PCB footprint, terminal geometry and polarity layout;
- the enclosure space, insertion direction and battery replacement access;
- the required contact material and plating specification;
- the intended soldering or assembly process and its approved process limits;
- order quantity, forecast demand and tape-and-reel requirements;
- drawing-defined inspection characteristics and acceptance records.
CR2032 is confirmed for the pictured supplied holders. Other coin cell formats can be reviewed, but compatibility should not be assumed from the page title or photograph. Send the drawing so that the battery interface, holder geometry, PCB connection and packaging requirement can be checked together.
SMT and SMD application boundary
Surface-mount holder options are available, but the holder name alone does not define a universal PCB footprint or reflow profile. The buyer or responsible assembly engineer should confirm pad geometry, solder paste, component placement, thermal exposure, polarity, cleaning, inspection and finished-board validation for the selected model.
Customer feedback for the supplied product family includes stable soldering performance during SMT reflow. This is a scoped customer observation, not a universal reflow-temperature guarantee or a substitute for validation on the buyer's board and process.
Dimensional inspection and release planning
A 2D optical measuring system is used for applicable drawing-defined dimensions. Depending on the drawing and agreed control plan, a project may combine:
- first-article inspection before production release;
- per-batch verification of designated characteristics;
- sampling inspection for agreed production checks; and
- 100% inspection of specific drawing-defined characteristics where required.
These inspection modes do not mean that every characteristic on every holder is automatically inspected 100%. The quotation and control plan should identify the characteristic, method, frequency, record and reaction rule that apply to the project.
Inspection of a holder does not by itself validate battery safety, PCB solder-joint quality, device current consumption, shock or vibration performance, enclosure compliance, regulatory approval or finished-device life. Those responsibilities remain with the appropriate design and validation owners.
Tape-and-reel packaging and lead time
The reference CR2032 holder configuration is supplied in tape-and-reel packaging for controlled handling and assembly preparation. Pocket geometry, orientation, reel quantity, label content and any special packing requirement should be confirmed for the selected model.
Production is made to order. Typical production lead time is approximately 20 days after the drawing, model, material, plating, quantity, packaging and commercial terms are confirmed. Tooling projects may require a separately confirmed schedule.

What does the USD 0.10 price cover?
It is a reference FOB Ningbo or Shanghai unit price for 1,000 pieces of the stated CR2032 configuration using phosphor-bronze contacts, a PBT body, a gold-plated contact surface and tape-and-reel packaging. A different model, plating specification, quantity or custom drawing requires quotation confirmation. Custom mold cost is quoted separately.
Are the holders suitable for SMT reflow?
Surface-mount options are available, and one customer reported stable soldering performance during SMT reflow. The exact holder model, material, plating, board footprint and reflow process must still be validated for the buyer's application. This page does not specify a universal reflow profile.
